We incorporate PCTI care into our Older Adult Care Management Program as well as our broader agency and service community, and are expanding our capacity to serve and support Holocaust survivors using PCTI-based principles.
We are accomplishing these in two ways:
1) Growing our capacity to directly serve survivors with a bilingual PCTI-trained care manager to serve 50+ low-income Holocaust survivors from the former Soviet Union.
2) Providing PCTI training and consultation to those who serve and interact with survivors, including program and agency staff, private homecare providers who work with survivors, caregivers (formal and informal), other Jewish organization staff (e.g. Jewish Community Center, congregations), volunteer drivers, and food pantry volunteers.
